about

Evan Tachovsky, a founding member of The Singular, and I used to be in a band called Emmet. Before a big battle of the bands I expressed my confidence. Evan reminded me that we were just about the only band that wasn't heavy metal, to which I replied "We eat metal for breakfast!" Then I wrote a song about it.

lyrics

We eat metal for breakfast
We shit gasoline
Every day since we were born all we've ever seen
Is the trickle of our insides coming out

All hail the end of the universe
Don't know why anyone would want to stay
For another day

We touched the lightening
Smoke came out our eyes
We watched the oceans burn away
The sky turned red, we birthed a crooked smile
And there were volumes left to say

All hail the end of the universe
Don't know why anyone would want to stay
For another day

They triumph the art of storytelling through song, and always invite their audience along with them on a musical journey. ... more
